Known as the character grade, Eternal highlights color variation with mixed and assorted grain patterns. Both “live” and “dead” knots are allowed, and the dead knots will be filled and sanded unless specifically requested. Heartwood, sapwood, cracks and mineral streaks are also allowed and help to give each floor a unique appearance.
